Collection of old film and dust VFX

Recently I have posted a few articles about VFX and I found that most of the keywords that came to my sites goes to this type of article. So I have made a decision to just add some more collection for you as a reference and for me as a bookmark. I believe in the world of sharing will makes you better.

Last post about VFX is about film burns/light leaks. Adding some more value or creativity to your video, old film VFX can also be a good mashups. I have seen a lot of video that used a few combination of light leaks and old film VFX to achieve this retro film looks.

So if you can see the early part of the video where he put a several mashups of old looks film and a few light leaks scene.

I am not saying that this video used this and that kind of way. I am just giving my rough idea of how this kind of video can be achieved. Instead of adding hairy particle based on the preset given in most of the video editing software, adding this old film effect in the screen mode will get you better results.
