Motiodesign Showreel 2010; All the way long

This is the collection of artwork done by me until now. It takes some time for me to re-allocate back the files I’ve been designed before. Owh yeah I’m having some good time to watch back my previous artwork. Sometimes I want to laugh out loud considering what a noob I am last year.

How it was started?

Remembering back all those memories when I started my video lessons. I was firstly introduced about video since I am at form 5. I did a video for my classmates and luckily the video is still there. You can browse it through my channel at youtube, but please don’t laugh. It is kinda noob. Told ya.

My interest in design grown up since Im studying at UTP. I joined Medtech. A freaky club where all the members are full of enthusiast in media and technology. It is very cool to be  in the family. They force me to learn Sony Vegas at the first time and yeah I did quite well. Just, I don’t think the video is still available. I can’t track back my past artwork because I format my pc quite a number of time. What I can share you is that, learning video editing is very cool and fun. I mean, totally fun! I did it in a fun way where I like to put some effects to the video, adding effects to my face to that I will become a lot handsome than I am (*slap) and much more. That will keeps you going to learn video editing more, plus the online tutorial now is easily to find. Just Google and nah, there you go. As simple as that.

To grow the interest is one, to maintain the interest is the another.

I would say in one and half year of my interest in motion graphic design, I learn much. Just that when it comes to higher level of video editing, all you need is a faster processor and powerful computer.

Last time I just used my old BenQ s41 laptop to render all those thing. It takes days to render even a clip. I was very frustrated until last time, my laptop broke down because of the graphic cards. And yes, it affects my laptop’s screen too. So instead of repair it, I decided to buy a better one because repairing will cost you about a laptop. I bought a computer more than enough to cover all my needs in video editing and yeah I am very happy with the performance.

What I can suggest you is that, if you want to put more effort into video editing, go for quad core processor or higher and buy some good graphic cards. It will cost you some money but I can ensure that the investment is really worth it. It will save you a lot of time and better results ahead.

Ps : I want to upgrade my pc again after this, and change my cpu cooler to a better one.
