I just come back from MAS January 2011. Yeah freaking as usual, with the heavy loads and less sleep time. We managed to finish a quite number of short video for them. It is awesome to work with those team and some new faces coming as CMD. With new arrival of so many cool gadgets and skills, I am pretty sure that video will be something on the highlight this year.

Roughly we did :
- Video Media Briefing

- Video Intro Crew

- Video Facee
- Video Smiley
- Video Parent
- Video Warisan
- Video You Raise Me Up
- Video Teaser Konti
- Video Behind The Scene
9 videos in just 6 days of MAS. Not bad huh. Just that the quality maybe is not there much. Its just a training ground for Medtech members. I am totally fine if you dont want to join, its your decision. Nothing to do with me.
Working on dateline
Working based on the dateline is quite a big stressful, but it is the reality of real life working situation. I have been working for several corporate companies so far to do their corporate montage and I would say that it is just the same. Work on the dateline and everything will be fine. I am glad that most of the videos were done before the dateline. Maybe some factor that supports better then the previous semester.
One of the main point is we are using fully DLSR gear to make videos. Before this, we are using Canon HV30 which use tape as the medium for recording. So freaking tired to capture all the clips one by one in real time. By using DSLR which will be captured through memory card and already saved as .mov which for me better.
We also using vegas 10 which is better and faster in rendering. This saves a lot of our time mostly.
Real working situation is not that enjoyable
Unless we are the one that make it enjoyable. Simple things I learn from MAS JAN 11 is the stress will gone after a smile. OF course you can differentiate between crews and CMD, crews works on pressure but CMD was kinda happy unstressful. But the main thing is both works on the same principle, professionalism(at least I can say that).
